Wild mango. The name says everything the brand is — not a statement about jewelry or fashion, but a statement about the person wearing it. Personal, fierce, and soft all at once. The "wild" carries the untamed. The "Amra" carries you.
At its heart, wild amr̄a reflects the essence of what makes us who we are — our memories, our identities, the emotions that unfold and shift over time. Just as each piece reveals itself through texture and detail, wild amr̄a captures the quiet unfolding of personal narratives. It holds space for both where you come from and who you are becoming, where every creation becomes a layer of story — intimate, meaningful, and entirely yours.
wild amr̄a is a jewelry brand devoted to the craft of wearable storytelling. Each piece is hand-fabricated through a thoughtful blend of organic elements — earthy spices, natural crystals, and delicate pearls — elevated into art. Rooted in slow fashion, every design is created with intention, honoring time, process, and the beauty of craftsmanship.
The work becomes a tangible connection to the inner child — a reflection of belonging that transforms ancestral flavors and the warmth of memory into sculptural form. Inspired by memory, modern art, and the colors of nature, these humble elements are shaped into something you can wear and carry with you. Organic forms, deliberate details, and balanced compositions create a sense of movement and meaning — designed not simply to adorn, but to be cherished as timeless pieces.
THE ARTIST
As a young artist, I found my creative voice through costume styling and illustration design. I worked with Femina magazine for couple years, focusing on model styling, and later became an illustration designer for leading fashion and lifestyle brands. I also assisted on Lakmé Fashion Week, collaborating with designers to bring runway visions to life. It wasn’t long before I returned to costume design, working with a prominent brand in Bollywood—drawn to the process of transforming ideas into living, expressive forms. I was captivated by the ability to create what I envisioned and see it realized in motion.
After an inspiring experience working with a designer, I was drawn to pursue a path rooted in creativity and self-expression. I started my own in-house brand, HOUSE OF OPAL, where I created playful designs with soft silhouettes and a focus on color. I continued to grow in this field for many years, working alongside a well-known brand.
While these experiences shaped my path to build DESIGNS BY UCHITA, I still felt something was missing. I had always been drawn to jewelry and often wondered if I should shift my focus—realizing it wasn’t just about jewelry, but a reflection of one’s own personality. And then it happened. In pursuit of another creative medium, I attended an intensive workshop led by friends and experienced brass work firsthand. That was my lightbulb moment—I knew I had found my path. I was captivated by the idea of creating small-scale, wearable sculptures. From there, I set out to learn everything about the jewelry industry. I explored materials, techniques, the supply chain, and the skills required at every step. Whenever I faced something unfamiliar, I turned to experienced mentors and learned from their guidance and support.
And here is where the story begins. What was once just a vision has come to life. Rebranding to WILD AMRA, more than a jewelry brand, I want to help others see that the biggest barrier to a joyful, fulfilling life is their own limiting beliefs. I aim to empower people to embrace the unique, quirky parts of themselves—what they’ve been told makes them “strange”—and show that these are actually their superpowers. There is no perfection, only progress, play, and the journey itself.
